Jaquet Droz has once again brought poetry and artistry to haute horlogerie with the unveiling of the Petite Heure Minute Platinum – Camels. This unique creation, born from the inspiration of a collector who envisioned his camels beneath a star-strewn desert sky, captures both the mystique of the Orient and the mastery of Swiss craftsmanship.
For the very first time, the Petite Heure Minute is presented in a platinum case, lending it an aura of rarity and distinction. Its dial becomes a celestial canvas, where aventurine glass evokes the depth of a nocturnal sky, scattered with sparkling constellations. Set against this cosmic backdrop, a desert scene unfurls—golden camels crossing under a chiselled moon, their journey illuminated by the glow of a hand-painted campfire.

Every detail is the result of Jaquet Droz’s signature Métiers d’Art. The moon, meticulously hand-chiselled in gold, reflects a lifelike brilliance, while the camels are shaped with delicate engraving and micro-painting, fusing tradition with storytelling. The aventurine surface shimmers with every flicker of light, echoing the vast expanses of desert nights.
This singular timepiece bridges cultures, transporting its wearer from the watchmaking ateliers of La Chaux-de-Fonds to the lavender-scented deserts of Arabia. More than a watch, it is a miniature work of art—an object of emotion, memory, and imagination.

With the Petite Heure Minute Platinum – Camels, Jaquet Droz demonstrates not only its technical prowess but also its ability to give form to dreams. This horological creation embodies the maison’s philosophy: “Some watches tell time, others tell a story.”
