ID Genève has collaborated with MONDIN to create a horological marvel that goes beyond traditional luxury. Introducing the Circular 1 Grenat, a limited edition timepiece that exemplifies elegant sustainability. This limited edition of only 40 pieces utilizes Nisiar, a breakthrough strap material made from raw grape marc from the famed Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards.

The Circular 1 Grenat Dial is a key milestone in the history of haute horology. This outstanding clock not only demonstrates the craftsmanship of Swiss watchmaking, but it also incorporates a cutting-edge material that redefines premium fashion. The Nisiar strap, a one-of-a-kind design made from raw grape marc, embodies a commitment to sustainability while maintaining grandeur.
Nisiar, a material derived from the French word for grape, “raisin,” represents an appealing alternative to traditional animal leather. Composed of 75% natural materials, it has the durability and toughness of leather while remaining environmentally responsible. Each Nisiar strap is precisely constructed from grape marc, a byproduct of the famed Château de Beaucastel’s wine production, which gives the material a particular natural brown shade derived from the tannins of 13 grape varietals.

The Circular 1 Grenat Dial, with a 41 mm case and a thickness of 9.65 mm, represents the pinnacle of Swiss watchmaking. Encased in 100% recycled stainless steel grade 1.4441, this clock represents not just sophisticated craftsmanship but also environmental responsibility. The steel used in Circular 1 was derived from the trash of about forty watchmaking enterprises in the Jura region, demonstrating the company’s dedication to sustainable techniques.
The Grenat dial, which has steel and Superluminova appliques, is protected by sapphire glass with anti-reflective treatment, assuring both elegance and functionality. With a water resistance of up to 50 meters and the precision of a Swiss round caliber ETA 2824, this watch is a tribute to the harmonizing blend of tradition and innovation.

The Circular 1 Grenat Dial is more than a timepiece; it is a statement of luxury and environmental stewardship. With only 40 pieces available, each watch represents a unique blend of historical significance and modern sophistication. This limited edition piece is an opportunity for connoisseurs to own a part of this exclusive heritage. The ID Genève Circular 1 Grenat Dial with Nisiar strap exemplifies how luxury and sustainability can coexist together. This extraordinary timepiece not only reflects the vineyard’s past, but also prepares the way for a future in which elegance and environmental morality coexist.
