Mauron Musy presents the final chapter of its ARCHITECT collection through two extraordinary creations developed in collaboration with Italian architect Arturo Tedeschi. The new models, Architect of Golden Cosmos and Architect of Golden Oasis, represent the concluding expression of a design philosophy that merges architecture, material experimentation, and high watchmaking. Produced in an extremely limited edition of just 37 watches worldwide, the release marks a deliberate closure to the project rather than the continuation of a series.
The collaboration between Mauron Musy and Tedeschi is rooted in a shared fascination with structural design. Rather than approaching the watch as a decorative object, the concept begins with architectural thinking where structure defines both function and aesthetics. The watches translate algorithmic architectural forms into horological design, allowing geometry and materials to become the primary language of the timepiece.

The two models explore contrasting origins that shape their visual identity. Architect of Golden Oasis draws inspiration from the earthly environment, with a deep blue sunburst dial evoking water, horizon, and reflections of light. In contrast, Architect of Golden Cosmos introduces a celestial narrative through the use of meteorite material formed billions of years ago in space. The crystalline patterns of the meteorite ensure that each dial is entirely unique.
Both editions feature a sculptural dial structure crafted from solid 18K gold. Instead of applying decorative elements, the gold framework is cast using a process that begins with algorithmically generated designs and additive manufacturing to create precise molds. Molten gold is then poured and shaped before being sandblasted to achieve a refined architectural texture, transforming the dial into a miniature sculptural structure.

Powering the watches is the Calibre MM01 automatic movement, developed, manufactured, and assembled entirely in Switzerland. The open architecture of the movement allows its mechanical structure to remain fully visible, reinforcing the design philosophy of structural transparency. With a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, the movement reflects the brand’s focus on mechanical integrity and functional clarity.
The case construction incorporates Mauron Musy’s patented nO-Ring technology, a distinctive innovation that replaces traditional rubber gaskets with a fully mechanical water-resistance system. This engineering approach eliminates components that naturally degrade over time while ensuring durability and precision. The technology has become a defining characteristic of the brand’s watchmaking philosophy.

Produced in extremely small numbers, the Architect of Golden Cosmos is limited to 27 pieces while Architect of Golden Oasis is limited to 10 pieces worldwide. Together they complete the ARCHITECT narrative as a closed project that unites architecture, engineering, and material experimentation. The watches stand as a final statement in the collaboration between Mauron Musy and Arturo Tedeschi, embodying a unique intersection of architectural thought and contemporary Swiss horology.
