OMEGA Unveils Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise: A Bold New Expression of Timeless Elegance

This summer, OMEGA introduces a captivating new chapter to its iconic Seamaster Aqua Terra collection with the launch of two turquoise editions — offered in both 38 mm and 41 mm case sizes. Combining Swiss precision with vibrant modern aesthetics, these striking models reaffirm the Maison’s reputation for pushing boundaries in design while preserving the heritage of fine watchmaking.

Distinguished by a turquoise varnish dial enriched with a subtle black gradient, the new Aqua Terra editions evoke the shifting hues of sunlight filtering through water. The dynamic interplay of colour gives the dial remarkable depth and personality, setting it apart from traditional iterations of the collection.

Complementing the dial is a matt black ceramic [ZrO?] bezel, perfectly contrasted against the lacquered finish and polished surfaces of the watch. Black PVD-coated hands and indices, filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensure legibility day and night, glowing with a luminous blue radiance in darkness.

In a thoughtful detail, OMEGA integrates turquoise stitching along the black structured rubber strap, creating a harmonious link between strap and dial. The result is a seamless and contemporary look that feels both athletic and refined, perfect for wearers seeking versatility from boardroom to shoreline.

As with all Aqua Terra timepieces, the craftsmanship extends beyond aesthetics. Signature features such as the screw-in crown, domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and wave-edged caseback ensure durability, while offering water resistance up to 150 metres (500 feet).

Inside, the two editions are powered by OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer movements. The 41 mm model houses Calibre 8900 with an impressive 60-hour power reserve, while the 38 mm version features Calibre 8800 with 55 hours. Both calibres are METAS-certified, guaranteeing precision, anti-magnetic resistance up to 15,000 Gauss, and uncompromising reliability.

This launch expands on last year’s stainless-steel bracelet versions, demonstrating OMEGA’s ongoing commitment to evolving the Aqua Terra line with fresh materials and refined finishes. The addition of ceramic bezels and integrated rubber straps gives the new models a sportier, more contemporary edge.

More than a functional timepiece, the Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise embodies OMEGA’s spirit of exploration and elegance. It reflects the Maison’s decades-long mastery in blending innovation with style, ensuring the collection remains a benchmark of modern watchmaking.

Timeless yet daring, the new Aqua Terra Turquoise editions are designed for those who seek not just a watch, but a statement of individuality — a companion for life’s adventures, whether on land, at sea, or under the stars.
