Oris continues to impress enthusiasts of performance-driven horology with the return of the Aquis Date Relief—a robust and sophisticated dive watch that celebrates the brand’s commitment to functional design and mechanical excellence. This newly relaunched version draws on the successful redesign of the evergreen Aquis Date while delivering distinct visual and technical elements that set it apart. It’s a tool watch with elegance, fit for both underwater exploration and everyday wear.

At 43.50 mm, the Aquis Date Relief features a multi-piece stainless steel case and a uni-directional rotating bezel. What truly distinguishes this model is its stainless steel bezel with a raised, relief-style minutes scale—crafted through a complex manufacturing process that provides a rugged, three-dimensional aesthetic. This subtle yet powerful design update replaces the polished ceramic of the standard Aquis models, offering a tougher and more utilitarian look.
The watch dial showcases a refined sunray grey finish, complemented by luminescent indices and hands treated with Super-LumiNova® for optimal readability in low-light conditions. A red ‘lollipop’ central seconds hand adds a bold dash of color, mirrored by the optional bright red rubber strap. For those who prefer a more classic look, a stainless steel bracelet version is also available, both versions fitted with a secure folding clasp and extension system.

Internally, the Aquis Date Relief is powered by the Oris 733 automatic movement. Visible through a see-through mineral glass case back, the Swiss Made calibre offers central hours, minutes, and seconds hands, along with a date display at 6 o’clock. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, features 26 jewels, and delivers a power reserve of up to 41 hours—highlighting its reliable and precise engineering.
Water-resistant to 30 bar (300 meters), the watch includes a screw-down crown with protective guards and a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside. At 13.10 mm thick and 51 mm lug-to-lug, the case maintains a balance of wearability and presence. The 23 mm interhorn width further supports the watch’s robust wrist stance, suitable for both casual and active lifestyles.

Available from June 2025, the Aquis Date Relief is an ideal companion for those who seek performance with personality. It exemplifies Oris’s ethos of blending practicality with innovative craftsmanship, making it a must-consider for collectors and adventurers alike.
