This October, Gotham Hall in Manhattan will once again become the beating heart of the global watch community as WatchTime New York celebrates its 10th anniversary. From October 17–19, 2025, North America’s most prestigious public watch collector event returns with its largest and most ambitious edition to date, welcoming a record-breaking lineup of 44 watch brands alongside a new, highly exclusive collector’s dinner.

Since its debut in 2015, WatchTime New York has evolved from an innovative concept into a cornerstone of the international horological calendar. The event pioneered a consumer-facing format that allowed watch lovers to engage directly with brands and watchmakers—a formula that has since inspired similar gatherings around the world. A decade later, it remains the anchor of New York’s unofficial Watch Week, attracting collectors, industry executives, and independent artisans alike.

This year’s milestone edition will see the return of the popular three-day program, beginning with a glamorous Friday evening cocktail reception, followed by two full days of exhibitions, activations, and curated experiences. Guests can expect not only world premieres and rare novelties from legacy maisons such as Blancpain, Breguet, and Piaget, but also bold showcases from independents like MB&F, Greubel Forsey, and Voutilainen—an eclectic mix that reflects the dynamism of the modern watch landscape.

To mark the anniversary, WatchTime New York is introducing a new highlight: the 10th Anniversary Dinner. Held on the mezzanine level of Gotham Hall immediately after the Friday cocktail party, the intimate, ticketed dinner will bring collectors face-to-face with brand executives, master watchmakers, and WatchTime editors over a curated three-course menu with wine pairings. Seating is extremely limited, underscoring the exclusivity of the evening, which is already nearing capacity.

Roger Ruegger, Editor-in-Chief of WatchTime, calls this year’s program “an incredible range of discoveries, from world premieres to rare independents, all in one place.” His words echo the event’s enduring mission—to create meaningful encounters between collectors and creators, whether through a conversation at a booth or a toast shared over dinner. For many, it is these connections that make WatchTime New York an annual pilgrimage.

Ten years on, the event’s impact is undeniable. “We set out to bring collectors and brands together. Ten years in, our team is so proud to have achieved that mission and so much more,” says WatchTime Publisher Sara Orlando. As the watch world prepares to gather once again in New York, the 2025 edition promises to not only celebrate a decade of horological excellence but also set the stage for the future of collector culture.
