At the inaugural Geneva Watch Days 2020, taking place in several high-end hotels in Geneva between April 26 to April 29, Bvlgari is unveiling two Finissimo models and three Aluminium models.

Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic, with the BVL388 chronograph calibre at just 3.50mm thick, claims a new watch industry record for the Finissimo family; that makes it the sixth record claimed by six models. The record-breaking chronograph is housed in a two-counter skeletonized display, along with a tourbillon at six o’clock. The 42mm case is grade 5 sandblasted titanium, as is the dial, crown, push buttons and bracelet. This model is a limited edition of 50 pieces.

It features the ultra-thin BLV138 calibre, with a thickness of 2.23 mm and boasting a power reserve of 60-hours. The 40mm steel case is 6.40mm thick with a transparent caseback. The black or blue coloured dial features sunburst finish with faceted diamond rhodium-plated hands. The crown, set with ceramic inlay, and the bracelet are in matching polished steel.

Bvlgari first introduced the Aluminium and rubber combination to the world of luxury sports watches back in 1998. This year, Bvlgari introduces three new Aluminium models to the collection. Two of them – Grey Dial 103382 and Black Dial 103445 – feature the B77 calibre movement. The Aluminium Chronograph 103383, also in a grey dial, features the B130 calibre chronograph movement.

Both are automatic winding with date function and a power reserve of 42 hours. All three feature a 40mm aluminium case with titanium caseback and DLC treatment; which combines with a rubber bezel. The crown is also titanium with DLC treatment. It is water-resistant to 100m. The rubber bracelet has aluminium links and ardillon buckle. The aluminium and rubber combination also extends to the dedicated packaging.
