The Pikes Peak Continental GT Limited Edition cars, part of Bentley Mulliner’s new ‘Collections’ portfolio, are being delivered to their new owners across four continents. Restricted to just 15 vehicles and hand-built at Bentley’s carbon-neutral factory in Crewe, England, the car celebrates Bentley’s record-breaking run up the world-renowned Pikes Peak course in Colorado, USA. All 15 units have been sold.

Bentley’s first record at Pikes Peak was set in 2018, when a Bentayga beat the field to become the fastest production SUV. Then in 2019, came the outright production car record with a race-prepared version of a standard W12-powered Continental GT. It beat the previous record by more than eight seconds, climbing around 1,500 metres through Pikes Peak’s 156 bends in just 10 minutes, 18.4 seconds. The record-setting Grand Tourer was driven on that occasion by Rhys Millen, three-time Pikes Peak champion and former ‘King of the Mountain.’

The 15 Pikes Peak Continental GTs honour this record-breaking run on the world’s most demanding hill climb. A third of the customers have opted for the Mountain Decal Event Livery, which matches the record-breaking car’s look. Three owners have chosen a subtle gloss black exterior paint finish.

The owners of the Pikes Peak Edition are spread around the world, in locations as far apart as Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, New Zealand, Latvia and the United Kingdom. Five of the new owners come from the USA, home to the world-renowned course in Colorado.

The Pikes Peak Edition has a lightweight, carbon fibre body kit and finished in exclusive “Radium” paintwork by Mulliner. It has four Mulliner 22-inch Driving Specification wheels in Gloss Black are standard, along with the Pirelli P Zero Colour Edition tyres and Acid Green brake callipers. Gloss black detailing also enhance lower bumper inserts on the front, the roof panel, wing mirrors and rear surfaces. Pikes Peak decal on the front fender points to the Limited Edition’s record-breaking lineage. An optional ‘100’ grille celebrates the fact that the record-breaking Pikes Peak run took place in Bentley’s centenary year.

The sporting theme continues inside the luxurious cabin, where Alcantara with contrasting Radium thread stitching adorns much of the soft trim areas. A honeycomb Radium stitching design on the steering wheel is complemented by a radium strip across the middle, matching the Pikes Peak race car.

The fascia design on the passenger side sports a graphic design showing a section of the famous Pikes Peak track, with five different graphics being used across the 15-cars. The record-breaking time of 10:18.488 has its rightful place. Pikes Peak Radium embroidery continues on the headrest stitching. It has overmats with contrast binding and Pikes Peak treadplates. The exclusive B&O speakers have covers in Black Anodised and Radium finish. The cabin also includes Continental GT’s innovative Bentley Rotating Display.

The Pikes Peak Continental GT is equipped with the same, advanced 12-cylinder petrol engine as the car that broke the record in 2019. The twin-turbocharged Bentley W12 develops 626 bhp and 900 Nm of torque, accelerating the Continental GT from 0-100 kmph in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 333 kmph.
