The Excalibur Knights of the Round Table III – Roger Dubuis’ latest work of art

The Excalibur Knights of the Round Table III “hyperwatch” by Roger Dubuis is what happens when an ancient myth meets a twenty-first century art form; when sapphire blue intersperses with pink gold.

The Excalibur III is framed by an imposing 45mm case with a solid case-back. A fluted 18K pink gold bezel and matching crown dominate its silhouette.

Each dial takes 45 hours to create. As in The Excalibur II, there are twelve highly detailed knights but have been completely redesigned. The knights are made of pink gold, low poly-sculpted, engraved and hand-finished. Each points his sword at the Avalon-inspired table sculpted from solid blue enamel blocks, a process requiring considerable dexterity and many patient hours of craftsmanship. The strap is made with a matching blue alligator strap.

The self-winding Calibre RD 821, an exclusive in-house movement delivers precision and reliability while driving the hour and minute functions. It also boasts a 48-hour power reserve. Like the knights, every detail of the movement is hand-finished.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Knights of the Round Table III is limited to just 28 pieces and is priced at CHF 285,000.
