Parmigiani Fleurier Unveils the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Corail for Seddiqi’s 75th Anniversary

Parmigiani Fleurier marks a milestone collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons as it unveils the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Corail, a 25-piece limited edition created in honour of the retailer’s 75th anniversary. Representing the purest expression of the Maison’s philosophy of refined discretion, the timepiece brings together minimalist design, artisanal savoir-faire, and the quiet confidence that has defined the Tonda PF collection since its debut. This new edition, crafted exclusively for the UAE, elevates the collection’s aesthetic language with a fresh interpretation rooted in cultural significance and contemporary elegance.

At the heart of the anniversary edition lies the distinctive coral-coloured dial, a hue chosen not for spectacle but for its depth, warmth, and subtle symbolism. Executed in a hand-guilloché Grain d’Orge pattern, the dial captures light in delicate waves, revealing its craftsmanship with every movement of the wrist. Arabic numerals mark the date window, creating a refined bridge between the Maison’s Swiss heritage and the region’s identity. The result is a dial that feels both intimate and expressive—an emblem of the collaboration’s authenticity.

The 40mm stainless steel case is complemented by Parmigiani Fleurier’s signature platinum knurled bezel, a detail that adds a tactile sophistication and visual nuance. Its sculpted lugs flow seamlessly into the integrated bracelet, where satin and polished finishes alternate in a rhythm that enhances the watch’s understated architecture. The exterior reflects everything about the Tonda PF ethos: streamlined, harmonious, and free from excess. It is a piece that reveals its complexity quietly, rewarding those who seek beauty in precision rather than embellishment.

Inside, the ultra-thin PF703 calibre underscores the Maison’s mastery of movement construction. Entirely manufactured in-house, the automatic calibre features a platinum micro-rotor—an engineering achievement that allows for remarkable slimness without sacrificing performance. At just 3mm thick, the movement offers a 48-hour power reserve and showcases traditional haute horlogerie finishes, from Côtes de Genève stripes to perlage. Visible through the sapphire caseback, it turns the watch into a private gallery of mechanical art.

For Parmigiani Fleurier’s CEO, Guido Terreni, the limited edition reflects both the brand’s spirit and its deepening relationship with the region’s collectors. Created for those who value purity, restraint, and meaningful detail, the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Corail embodies the essence of “private luxury”—a watch that speaks through refinement rather than ostentation. The partnership with Seddiqi adds further significance, honouring a legacy that has shaped the horological landscape of the Middle East for 75 years.
