Bentley unveils the Dutch Masters Collection as a rare meeting point between fine art and coachbuilt luxury, presented through three one-of-a-kind grand tourers conceived by Mulliner. Revealed in Amsterdam during an intimate cultural gathering, the collection pays tribute to three of the Netherlands’ most influential artists—Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Van Gogh—interpreting their visual languages through material, colour, and form rather than canvas.
Each vehicle functions as a moving artwork, designed not merely to reference its muse, but to embody the emotional and atmospheric qualities of the artist’s work. Mulliner’s designers translated brushstrokes into textures, palettes into leathers, and compositional motifs into light animations and surface detailing, creating an automotive narrative that unfolds gradually as the car is experienced.

The Rembrandt-inspired creation draws from the dramatic chiaroscuro and layered intensity of The Night Watch. Deep exterior tones are offset by rich interior contrasts, while subtle ornamental details echo the symbolism found within the painting. Light and shadow play a central role, reinforcing the artist’s mastery of depth and human presence.
In contrast, the Vermeer interpretation embraces clarity, balance, and luminous calm. Inspired by the quiet domestic scenes and refined daylight of Delft interiors, the design focuses on cooler tones, elegant restraint, and an emphasis on natural light. The result is a vehicle that feels serene and contemplative, mirroring Vermeer’s ability to find quiet poetry in everyday moments.

The Van Gogh commission delivers a more expressive and emotive experience. Drawing from the swirling energy and vivid palette of The Starry Night, this model translates movement and intensity into flowing patterns, layered finishes, and contrasting accents. It captures Van Gogh’s restless spirit through dynamic visual rhythm rather than literal replication.
Across all three vehicles, bespoke craftsmanship defines every surface. Custom veneers, embroidered motifs, artist-inspired welcome light animations, and curated colour harmonies demonstrate Mulliner’s ability to push personalisation beyond luxury into true storytelling. Each detail is deliberately integrated, ensuring that form, function, and meaning remain inseparable.

The Dutch Masters Collection stands as a declaration of Bentley’s belief that modern luxury is intellectual as much as material. By bridging centuries-old art history with contemporary automotive design, the collection reframes the car as a cultural object—one that carries heritage, emotion, and individuality forward, long after the gallery doors have closed.
