At boot Düsseldorf 2026, Porsche and Frauscher Boats deepen their German-Austrian collaboration with a debut that bridges road and water in electric form. The world premiere of the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre is accompanied by the unveiling of the Macan Turbo Concept Lago, an extensively customised concept SUV that mirrors the boat’s design language. Together, they present a unified vision of E-Performance where engineering, craftsmanship and individuality converge.
The 790 Spectre has been developed entirely around the fully electric powertrain of the Porsche Macan Turbo. Constructed to integrate the high-voltage battery, rear-axle motor and control electronics, the new hull is lighter, shorter and narrower than previous models. The result is a 7.97-metre sports boat that translates Porsche’s performance ethos into the maritime world with agility and efficiency at its core.

Design continuity is central to the collaboration, most visibly expressed through the exclusive Darkteal Metallic finish applied to both boat and concept SUV. Originating from Porsche’s Paint to Sample programme, the colour reinforces the shared identity across land and sea. Customisable sideblades, distinctive branding details and layered finishes highlight the emphasis on personalisation that defines both marques.
Inside the 790 Spectre, familiar Porsche cues shape the experience. The start button sits to the left of the steering wheel, echoing Porsche sports cars, while the wheel and sport seats carry the Porsche Crest. Five round instruments with traditional graphics underscore the connection to Zuffenhausen, and vertical stitching details extend the shared design philosophy into every tactile element.

The dialogue continues within the Macan Turbo Concept Lago, which incorporates nautical references through bespoke elements from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Yacht-style real wood lines the luggage compartments and interior accents, evoking the texture of a ship’s deck. A compass replaces the Sport Chrono stopwatch at the crown of the cockpit, while marine-grade fabric and Crayon leather create a refined contrast. Matching, custom-finished keys in Darkteal Metallic unite SUV and vessel in subtle harmony.
While the Macan Turbo Concept Lago remains a design study, the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre is available to order. At the same time, Porsche’s fully electric Cayenne makes its German debut in Düsseldorf, extending the brand’s commitment to high-performance electrification. Capable of towing up to 3.5 tonnes depending on equipment, it underscores the practicality that complements Porsche’s evolving electric portfolio.

Through the Macan Turbo Concept Lago and the 790 Spectre, Porsche and Frauscher demonstrate that electrification does not dilute identity; it refines it. E-Performance becomes a shared language, where precision engineering and design mastery flow seamlessly from asphalt to open water, defining a new chapter in cross-brand innovation.
