A new chapter in automotive community culture has begun with the creation of the world’s first Porsche club dedicated exclusively to all-electric sports cars. Known as Registro Italiano E-motion, the club brings together owners and enthusiasts of Porsche’s electric models, celebrating innovation, performance, and shared passion for sustainable mobility. The initiative signals a shift in the way Porsche communities are evolving alongside the brand’s growing electrification journey.
The club marked its official launch with a landmark road trip that brought together 131 participants and 73 electric vehicles. Members departed from the Porsche Experience Center in Franciacorta, Italy, beginning a scenic journey through northern Italy and the Alps before reaching their destination near Salzburg. The event served not only as a driving experience but also as a celebration of a new kind of Porsche community shaped by innovation and connection.

Participants arrived in a diverse lineup of Porsche electric vehicles, including multiple variants of the Taycan and the new electric Macan. From rear-wheel-drive models to high-performance Turbo and Turbo S versions, the gathering reflected the breadth of Porsche’s electric portfolio. Several vehicles also featured unique custom colors from Porsche’s Paint to Sample program, adding a vibrant personal touch to the convoy.
The idea behind the club began during the global pandemic, when early Taycan owners created a small online discussion group to exchange knowledge about software, charging networks, and everyday experiences with electric Porsche vehicles. What started as a simple conversation among enthusiasts quickly grew into a larger community of like-minded drivers. With support from Porsche Italia, the group eventually evolved into an officially recognized Porsche club.

During the road trip, the convoy crossed picturesque landscapes of vineyards, Alpine valleys, and mountain passes on the way to Austria. Charging stops became moments of social exchange, where participants shared stories, meals, and experiences with electric mobility. Mobile Porsche turbo-charging units were deployed to support the large number of vehicles, ensuring each car was ready for the next stage of the journey.
What defines the club most strongly is its diverse and inclusive membership. Members range from young enthusiasts in their twenties to seasoned Porsche owners in their seventies, often travelling with families and friends. Entrepreneurs, creators, students, and professionals share the same enthusiasm for electric sports cars and a forward-looking perspective on mobility.

The journey concluded at the Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk museum near Salzburg, where members gathered to celebrate the success of the club’s first collective adventure. More than a road trip, the event symbolized the evolving identity of Porsche culture—one that embraces electric performance while maintaining the spirit of community that has long defined the brand.
