With the winter season at its peak, Jebel Jais reopens, inviting visitors to return to the UAE’s highest mountain for outdoor adventure, elevated dining, and moments of reconnection.
Winter has always been Jebel Jais at its most compelling. From Saturday, 31 January, the UAE’s highest mountain reopened, marking the return of the outdoor season at one of the country’s most distinctive natural destinations. Following essential maintenance works and comprehensive safety assessments, Jebel Jais welcomes residents and visitors back at the height of winter, when cooler temperatures and clear skies transform the mountain into a sanctuary for movement, reflection, and discovery.

Perched high above Ras Al Khaimah, Jebel Jais has long stood as a place where nature, adventure, and wellbeing intersect. As part of the 2025–26 winter season, themed Where Life Comes Together, the mountain once again becomes a shared space—inviting guests to reconnect not only with the landscape, but also with themselves.
A Season Designed for the Outdoors
With winter conditions offering ideal temperatures, guests can return to hiking trails, cycling routes, scenic viewing points, and elevated dining experiences that unfold across the mountain’s dramatic terrain. The reopening marks a phased return of Jebel Jais’ most celebrated attractions, each designed to highlight the scale and serenity of the mountains.

Among the highlights, Jais Flight, the world’s longest zipline, resumes operations from 31 January, offering an unmatched aerial journey across the rugged peaks. From 7 February, adventure seekers can also experience the Jais Sky Tour, a two-hour, five-kilometre course featuring six ziplines suspended above the landscape.
For those drawn to quieter pleasures, 1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest restaurant, reopens from 31 January, welcoming guests daily between 8am and 8pm. Elevated both in altitude and atmosphere, the restaurant offers a refined dining experience framed by panoramic mountain views. Puro Express, located at the Jais Viewing Deck Park, will follow on 7 February, providing a relaxed stop for light bites and refreshments.
Accessing the Mountain
To ensure a seamless and well-managed experience, visitors are required to hold a confirmed booking for one of the available experiences, or alternatively purchase a Jais Viewing Deck Park ticket for AED 10 at the security entrance before ascending the mountain.

A Destination Built Around Connection
“At Jebel Jais, we create spaces that invite communities to reconnect with nature, with one another, and with themselves,” said Donald Bremner, CEO of Marjan Lifestyle. “As the mountain reopens, we look forward to welcoming visitors back to experience its energy, movement, and powerful sense of connection, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.”
Winter remains one of the most sought-after times to visit Jebel Jais, and guests are encouraged to plan ahead as experiences continue to reopen gradually throughout the season.
Whether arriving in search of adrenaline, tranquillity, or simply the pleasure of crisp mountain air, Jebel Jais offers a winter escape where nature, adventure, and wellbeing come together—far above the everyday.
