Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah (WARAK), one of the nation’s go-to destinations, recently hosted a special edition of The Living Room Talks interview series launched in partnership with Aston Martin. The second live episode in the series featured Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), on November 18.
In dialogue with Sayad Ibrahimli, WARAK’s Cluster Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Raki Phillips shared the actions that RAKTDA has adopted in the ‘new normal’ setting as well as their ambitious plans for the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah over the next five years.
Initially launched in May 2020 during social distancing, ‘The Living Room Talks’ is an initiative by the hotel to share solutions and measures by businesses, local authorities and different leaders to solve the impacts brought by the ongoing pandemic. The series of interviews thus far have featured Alessandro Redaelli – Managing Director of Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, Guillermo Quesada – General Manager of Toroverde UAE, Omar Al Busaidy – Emirati Entrepreneur and Author, Meghan French-Ritsch – businesswoman and humanitarian.
‘Drive and Talk’ is a special episode that aired in July. It features an interview in an Aston Martin car with guest speaker Ramzi Atat – Head of Marketing and Communications Aston Martin MENA – where he makes special announcements regarding the Aston Martin Brand.
