A new voice in luxury interiors has emerged from the UAE, where precision meets poetics in the debut of Yla, a homegrown furniture atelier redefining metal’s role in modern design. With its first offering, The Audace Collection, Yla unveils an architectural approach to indoor furniture that draws from nature’s fluidity, realised through the lens of expert engineering and artisanal finesse.
Based in Dubai and helmed by creative director Benoit Rondard, Yla’s aesthetic is deeply rooted in contrast—between strength and softness, minimalism and complexity, structure and emotion. Rondard, whose decades-long mastery of metalwork was forged at the helm of Eurotech, brings a rare synergy of industrial expertise and creative freedom to the atelier’s launch. Every curve, surface, and material in The Audace Collection is a product of this duality—a dialogue between artistic expression and structural ingenuity.

Crafted from premium stainless steel and aluminium, each piece in the collection is finished in a smooth matte texture that invites touch while evoking calm. Tables, seating, and storage solutions are composed with thoughtful restraint and wrapped in quality fabrics designed to age with grace. Beyond aesthetics, sustainability and longevity are cornerstones of the brand’s philosophy—reflected in both the choice of durable materials and Yla’s commitment to minimal environmental impact.
What sets The Audace Collection apart is its sculptural sense of presence. Pieces are released in four carefully curated hues: Imperial, a vibrant and energising shade; Desert, which offers subtle warmth; Charcoal, striking in its sophistication; and Polar, a tone of serene tranquility. These natural tones form a palette that enhances interiors without overwhelming them—whispering rather than shouting, grounding rather than dictating.

Every piece is a result of close collaboration between artisans and engineers, from initial sketch to final polish. Sleek joints, fluid silhouettes, and seamless forms suggest effortless simplicity, but each is the outcome of painstaking craftsmanship. In this way, Yla’s debut feels less like a traditional collection and more like a curated exhibition—one where furniture is not merely functional, but meditative and emotional.
“With Yla, we set out to create more than just furniture,” says Rondard. “We wanted to create meaningful design that carries presence and purpose, and that connects with people on an intuitive level. The Audace Collection reflects our commitment to timeless, sustainable design, and our goal is to bring beauty, vitality, and a quiet sense of luxury to everyday spaces.”

Yla may be new to the luxury design world, but with this inaugural collection, it has carved a distinct space—where heritage meets innovation, and where the enduring elegance of metal is given a soulful new voice.
