Impulsion Titanium Onyx: Where Energy, Art, and Innovation Collide

In the golden age of horology, two legendary names — Abraham-Louis Breguet and Louis Moinet — forged a friendship that would forever change watchmaking. Breguet gave the world the tourbillon; Moinet, the chronograph. Centuries later, Les Ateliers Louis Moinet pays homage to their intertwined legacies with a creation that feels less like a watch and more like a revelation.

Introducing the Impulsion Titanium Onyx — a timepiece where pure energy meets exquisite artistry. This daring creation fuses two of watchmaking’s most intricate complications, the tourbillon and the chronograph, into a mesmerizing spectacle on the wrist. For the first time ever, the full chronograph mechanism is proudly displayed on the dial side, offering a breathtaking, living performance with every tick and revolution.

At its heart lies the in-house Memoris calibre, a marvel of mechanical choreography, featuring a column wheel, a classic horizontal clutch, and a single pusher — the unmistakable DNA of Louis Moinet. The movement’s architecture, made up of 301 meticulously designed components, dances with energy thanks to a double spring barrel system aptly named “volte-face,” delivering an extraordinary 96-hour power reserve.

True to its name, Impulsion Titanium Onyx is a rush of vitality. Its off-center flying tourbillon pirouettes gracefully while the chronograph hand sweeps over it, creating a visual symphony that never ceases to enchant. Every detail, from the sculpted case crafted in Grade 5 titanium to the rich black core and onyx accents, speaks of refined rebellion — a bold design ethos that is unmistakably Moinet.

The case itself is a masterpiece of form and function: four distinct titanium elements seamlessly come together in a structure that is both striking and feather-light. Hollowed lugs, a custom bezel, and a curved crystal amplify the dramatic presence of the dial, while keeping the overall weight perfectly balanced.

The chronograph counters are arranged with an effortless elegance, ensuring that each glance reveals a world of precision and poetry. Hand-finished by master craftsmen in the Swiss Jura Mountains, the Impulsion Titanium Onyx is more than a watch — it’s an experience, a kinetic sculpture, a tribute to two visionaries who changed time itself.
