The latest iteration of the BR 05 Skeleton features a dial in green, a trendy yet complementary colour to the previous ones: black, blue and grey. This green is a deep, elegant olive green. Neither too bright nor too dark, it complements the 40 mm steel case.

Bell & Ross BR 05 Skeleton Green

A Franco-Swiss specialist in instrument watches, Bell & Ross is known for its aeronautical-inspired timepieces. In 2019, the brand launched the BR 05 collection, a new contemporary family of watches for the “Urban Explorers.” This sporty-chic line of watches quickly became the second icon of the house.

It possesses Bell & Ross’s iconic design feature – the round dial within a square-ish case inspired by aircraft cockpit instruments – while also offering more compact dimensions and angular lines. It also features an integrated bracelet that merges with the case to create a more harmonious entity. The steel case and bracelet feature alternating polished and satin finishing. It is also available with a green rubber strap.

The BR 05 Skeleton collection, derived directly from the BR 05, is distinguished by the open dial that reveals the watch’s mechanism. The new BR 05 Skeleton Green is the fourth member of the Skeleton collection. In 2019, the ?rst Skeleton, with a grey dial, was presented simultaneously with the launch of the ?rst BR 05 pieces. Then, in 2020, a blue version was launched. In 2021, the Nightlum, with a black dial, has indexes and hands coated with Super-LumiNova C5.

The minimalist dial new green BR 05 Skeleton exposes the Swiss Made automatic BR-CAL-322 calibre within. The geartrain that drives it engages in a fascinating ballet. The movement and dial assembly are based on complex construction, consisting of the watch mechanism covered with a green-tinted crystal, then a ?ange housing the indexes.

Above them are the applique indices and metal skeletonised hour and minute hands, all coated with Super-LumiNova. To ensure that no part of the theatre is obstructed, the watch has a magnifying sapphire crystal on top and a sapphire crystal case back. The latter makes it possible to admire the swinging of the 360-degree oscillating weight with a design inspired by a sports car wheel trim.

This watch, displaying hours, minutes and seconds, is limited to 500 pieces.
