Mondoir is a private gallery that operates at the intersection of blockchain, technology, entertainment and art, with a primary focus on empowering artists and streamlining their navigation through the new digital landscape.
Mondoir was founded by Amir “Mondoir” Soleymani – the Iranian-British art collector and gallerist. With a reported collection of over 2,000 digital artworks, NFTs and collectables, Amir founded the Adelia Art Gallery in Liverpool, a physical location dedicated to exhibiting digital art. On display are artworks from his personal collection as well as those by prominent digital artists.

Building on the success of the Adelia Art Gallery, Amir established the Mondoir Art Gallery in Dubai in March. With its modern and futuristic space nestled in the heart of Downtown Dubai, Mondoir promotes art through exhibitions, events, and educational programs, Mondoir seeks to promote digital art. It recently launched the .ART ecosystem, which introduces innovative tools such as ‘Directory.art’ and ‘Submit.art’.
‘Directory.art’ provides artists with a platform to showcase their work and products whilst at the same time offering smart search functionalities for people discovering artistic services globally. ‘Submit.art’ streamlines gallery and artist engagements for open calls and gallery exhibitions around the world. These tools were developed to simplify the creative pursuit for artists, curators, and collectors, while also expanding Mondoir’s digital and physical presence.

“Our mission is to support the advancement of digital art,” says Amir. “Our tools simplify discovery processes and improve access to new technologies, enabling artists to scale. We deliver experiences, develop tools and deploy systems that solve various barriers to entry for artists and contribute to advancing digital art worldwide.”
This month, Mondoir unveiled ‘Infinite’ – a solo exhibition by the renowned Arabic calligrapher Diaa Allam. This exhibition, on display till October 31, is a collaboration with Dubai Culture and the esteemed Biennale Calligraphy Edition. The exhibition unveiled three never-seen-before pieces, each one a fusion of contemporary calligraphy and abstract art, reflecting the artist’s passion and evolution.

Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by Diaa Allam’s artworks, each one capturing the essence of modern Arabic calligraphy and accentuated with innovative digital animations. These are followed by an indulgence in other artworks featuring the timeless elegance of Arabic calligraphy that have been blended with digital art.

“We are excited to present Infinite, which serves as a beacon of the immense potential of Arabic calligraphy when integrated with modern tech,” says Amir. “This exhibition symbolises our vision at Mondoir Gallery — to celebrate age-old art traditions while welcoming the future. We are confident that this partnership with pioneering entities like Dubai Culture and Biennale will set a new benchmark for excellence in not only the world of digital art but ultimately, art as a whole.”
As a notable hub for digital art innovation, the Mondoir Gallery proudly stands as one of the official locations to visit during the Biennale.
