Bell & Ross has a history of making watches inspired directly by flight instruments and the golden age of aviation. The journey continues to this day. Inspired by their BR-Bird flying machine, Bell & Ross has recently released two new Racing Bird watches; showcasing their passion for aviation & creativity.
In addition to the color code, the limited-edition BRV1-92 and BRV2-94 watches share the identity of speed and performance with the racing aircraft.
Like the fuselage of the BR-Bird, the dial of the timepieces is white and same as the empennage of the plane, the numerals, bezel, chronograph counter and strap are blue in color. The central second hand, details on the dial and lining of the leather strap are orange, like the color highlighting the most important information on the flight instruments. Like the Bell & Ross logo on the wings and flanks of the aircraft, the timer of the watch is grey. The final touch is the silhouette of the aircraft on the case back and at the base of the second hand (on the three-hand version) and the second timer (on the chronograph version). Both BRV1-92 and BRV2-94 watches are powered by an automatic mechanical movement. The BRV1-92 watch has a blue calfskin strap with orange lining, whereas the BRV2-94 comes with an additional strap option of satin-polished steel.
The Racing Bird watches are priced as follows:
BRV1-92 – AED 9210
BRV2-94 (Blue Calfskin Strap) – AED 16,712
BRV2-94 (Steel) – AED 18,012
