Bvlgari has unveiled three new expressions of the Bvlgari Aluminium, with the GMT dressed in its historical black and white livery, a vibrant green Smeraldo chronograph, and the three-hand Solotempo automatic in immaculate white.
The Bvlgari Aluminium lineage dates back to 1998, when the house debuted a sporty-chic watch that introduced the fusion of aluminium and rubber into watchmaking. With an undeniably Italian flair, its bold bezel was embossed with the now-iconic 14-letter signature, Bvlgari Bvlgari.
In 2020, the Aluminium line was reborn, powered by an automatic mechanical movement. It was honoured as an iconic watch at the GPHG 2020 and later for its design at the Red Dot Best of the Best 2023. The three 2024 Bvlgari Aluminium models showcase new levels of creativity and freshness.
Bvlgari Aluminium Black GMT
This year’s Bvlgari Aluminium Black GMT features a white dial set against the black bezel and rubber strap. The GMT function is colour-coded with red for ‘day’ hours and black for ‘night’ hours, ensuring intuitive time-reading. The secondary hour hand is distinguished by a white arrow trimmed in red. In low light, the hands and markers, coated with Super-LumiNova, provide outstanding visibility.
The user-friendly design of the watch makes setting local time and any chosen time zone simple, using just the crown. Moreover, the date display is subtly positioned at 3 o’clock. This latest interpretation of the Bvlgari Aluminium GMT reveals the exquisite aesthetic sense that appeals to sophisticated globetrotters.
Bvlgari Aluminium Chronograph Smeraldo
The spirit of la dolce vita, evoked by the limited Capri editions in 2023, continues into the spring of 2024 with this model by extending the Italian seaside holiday narrative. This limited edition of 1000 pieces is distinguished by its distinct dial, graduating from white to turquoise green.
The watch exudes a sense of sophisticated playfulness with its bezel and strap in matching deep green rubber. The strap is articulated with aluminium links. It has green chronograph counters, dark green hands, and a date window at 4:30. Pulsating within is the automatic B130 mechanical movement, featuring date and chronograph functions. The latter is controlled via intuitive start/stop and reset pushers. The titanium caseback sports an intricate Rosa dei venti engraving.
Bvlgari Aluminium White Automatic
Bvlgari its disruptive icon in striking monochrome white for the first time. This limited edition of 1000 pieces graces the wrist with a gender-neutral appeal. The bezel is emblazoned with the 14 letters of Bvlgari Bvlgari, a design inspired by the coins of ancient Rome.
The aluminium dial is paired with rhodium-plated indexes and hands, highlighted with Super-LumiNova for brilliance. The date display at 3 o’clock combines functionality with an aesthetic balance. Energizing, invigorating, and refreshing – dressed in white, this new edition reveals the legend’s graphic and bold lines like never before.
