A private gathering of visionaries celebrates timeless elegance, legacy, and refined taste
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – April 18, 2025 – In a remarkable celebration of legacy, passion, and enduring style, Range Rover unveiled The Collectors’ Lounge, an exclusive, design-led experience hosted in the heart of Dubai. Held over three days at the private residence of prominent art collector Charles Al Sidaoui, the invitation-only gathering brought together an elite circle of collectors, curators, and cultural visionaries to honor the art of collecting and the spirit of modern luxury.

Curated as a multisensory experience, The Collectors’ Lounge seamlessly blended heritage with contemporary sophistication. Set against a backdrop of masterful art, rare design objects, and timeless vehicles, the event highlighted Range Rover’s commitment to craftsmanship and cultural relevance. Anchoring the occasion were a series of immaculately restored Range Rover Classics—icons that not only speak to the brand’s rich legacy but also to its dedication to the purity of analogue engineering and bespoke design.
“The Collectors’ Lounge is a celebration of passion, individuality, and the stories we tell through the objects we treasure,” said Paula Gharizi, Brand Director, JLR MENA. “Whether it’s a rare book, heritage garment, vintage vinyl, or a perfectly restored Range Rover Classic—every piece on display reflected a pursuit of beauty, meaning, and timeless value.”

The event showcased a diverse spectrum of private collections, each a personal narrative of taste and identity. Highlights included Charles Al Sidaoui’s Yes Collection, a vibrant and globally-sourced trove of contemporary art, featuring legends like Picasso and Miró alongside emerging Middle Eastern artists. Dr. Reem Tariq El Mutwalli brought a profound cultural dimension through her archive of historic garments from across the Arab world, reflecting decades of regional heritage and storytelling.
Alex Warren, founder of Zerzura Rare Books, presented a curated selection of first editions and rare titles spanning art, history, and design. Watch connoisseur Hamdan Al Hudaidi, founder of Perpétuel Gallery, exhibited exceptional timepieces from independent watchmakers, while Nisreen Shocair, co-founder of Art of Guitar and Art of Music, unveiled a collection of artisan-crafted musical instruments and design rarities. Adding rhythm to the ambiance was DJ and vinyl purist Shadi Megallaa, spinning live sets from his personal archive of over 3,000 records.

Together, these collections formed a rich tapestry of cultural insight and personal expression, offering guests a rare invitation into the worlds of those who shape and preserve beauty across time. The Collectors’ Lounge wasn’t merely an event—it was an embodiment of Range Rover’s ethos: to champion those who live through legacy, design, and refined innovation.
A brand rooted in British luxury and world-renowned for its design and engineering excellence since 1970, Range Rover continues to evolve with modern elegance. Now encompassing electric hybrid performance across all models, including the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar, and Evoque, the brand remains a global symbol of curated living—available in 121 countries as part of the JLR house of brands alongside Defender, Discovery, and Jaguar.
