Dubai based W Motors’ latest offering, the Fenyr SuperSport, is set to make its long-awaited road debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed between 12 and 15 July. A fitting successor to the now iconic Lykan, the debutant super-car is scheduled to make two hill-climb runs every day, in front of an anticipated crowd of around 200,000 passionate car enthusiasts.
Fenyr’s powerhouse, the Porsche twin-turbo 3.8 litres flat-six engine, is stated to produce around 800 hp, enabling Fenyr SuperSport to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 400 km/h.
The power is channelled to the rear wheels via Porsche’s seven-speed dual-clutch RDK transmission. The front axle features the MacPherson strut suspension while the rear has multi-link suspension with horizontal coil over shock absorbers. Anti-roll bars are also installed at both axles.
The Fenyr’s distinctive silhouette is materialised with a carbon-composite body and finished in exclusive exterior paint schemes. Carbon-fibre and Alcantara dominate the interior. The seats have a carbon-fibre shell topped with the most exquisite handcrafted leather.
W Motors assigns Customization Consultant to assist customers in choosing such options as the colour schemes, embroidery patterns, crest/flag positioning, usage of exotic leathers or even more if the customer has decided to commission a limited-edition version.
These seemingly endless customisation options, coupled with the fact that production per year is limited, will result in each Fenyr SuperSport being a one-of-a-kind work of automotive art.
