In the heart of Rome, a new chapter in automotive elegance is unfolding. The inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma, presented by UBS, brings together some of the finest examples of Italian design, engineering, and heritage in a celebration that echoes the glamour and spirit of la dolce vita. Held against the architectural grandeur of the Eternal City, the event is more than a gathering of cars—it’s a tribute to craftsmanship, culture, and the enduring allure of Italian style.

With just fifty hand-selected vehicles, the line-up reads like a living museum of Italian automotive history. Marques such as Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati, Fiat, Lamborghini, Pagani, and Lancia are represented in pristine form, with many models making rare public appearances—some lovingly restored, others preserved as icons of their time. The vehicles span eras and emotions, from a 1902 Fiat once commissioned by Ignazio Florio to a contemporary Pagani Zonda Viola, each telling a story of innovation and identity.

Divided into twelve classes, the entries reflect the evolution of Italian motoring—from pre-war masterpieces to post-war Gran Turismo and motorsport legends. There are cars built for endurance and glamour alike, including Mille Miglia veterans and a trio of Ferraris that together boast four wins at Le Mans. A dedicated class celebrates the artistry of Carrozzeria Zagato, while others highlight rarities such as a Lamborghini Miura made famous on film and a Ferrari 512 BBi created for the iconic Gianni Agnelli.

Throughout the weekend, the event moves through some of Rome’s most breathtaking settings. From elegant rooftops and regal villas to the shaded gardens of Villa Borghese, guests are treated to a curated experience that blends history, hospitality, and high design. The route, atmosphere, and attention to detail reflect a lifestyle rooted in heritage, yet forward-looking in its sophistication.

With partnerships spanning from Richard Mille and Acqua di Parma to Lavazza, Technogym, Tod’s, and Ferrari SpA, the Concorso also highlights a broader narrative of Italian excellence. At its core, it’s a celebration of passion—expressed through engines, aesthetics, and the timeless rhythm of Rome.

Following a respectful postponement due to the passing of Pope Francis, Anantara has officially announced that the inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma will now take place from 16 to 19 April 2026. Planning is actively underway, with dates confirmed and final venue selections in progress. Set against the backdrop of Rome in spring, the event will honour Italy’s quintessential spirit—la dolce vita—through an immersive celebration of classic cars, timeless style, exceptional hospitality, and regional cuisine.
