History was made once more as Ferrari triumphed for the third consecutive year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, cementing its place among endurance racing’s greatest legends. The AF Corse team’s number 83 Ferrari 499P, adorned in a striking Giallo Modena livery, took the chequered flag after a masterful performance by Yifei Ye, Phil Hanson, and Robert Kubica. Their dominant victory in the 93rd edition of the world’s most iconic endurance race underscores Ferrari’s golden age of sportscar excellence since returning to the top class in 2023.

With this landmark achievement, Ferrari earns the honour of retaining the winners’ trophy permanently—a privilege reserved for those who conquer the legendary Circuit de La Sarthe three years in a row. It’s a testament not only to engineering brilliance but also to strategic execution and driving prowess across the team.

This year’s fourth round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship saw a strong showing across Ferrari’s entries. The number 51 499P, helmed by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi—winners of the 2023 Centenary edition—secured third place. Close behind was the number 50 car, driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen, last year’s victors, who added further strength to the Maranello contingent’s impressive presence at Le Mans.

Since its debut, the Ferrari 499P has achieved a perfect record at the Circuit de La Sarthe, elevating it to an icon of modern motorsport. This third victory not only affirms the car’s dominance but rekindles memories of Ferrari’s golden era of the 1960s, when the Prancing Horse claimed six back-to-back victories from 1960 to 1965.

Today, Ferrari holds 12 overall wins at Le Mans between 1949 and 2025—a testament to its enduring legacy and the rebirth of its hypercar ambitions. From the 250 LM’s victory in 1965 to the 499P’s current supremacy, the Prancing Horse has once again proven that heritage, innovation, and passion are timeless forces on the track.
